The Little Grey Film x Greyt Greys - Melbourne premiere

On 2 December 2023 Greyt Greys, in conjunction with Thornbury Picture House proudly hosted the Melbourne premiere of Bad Publicity Co's The Little Grey Film.

The Little Grey Film

The Little Grey Film is an award-winning documentary on Australia's greyhound racing industry. Directed by fellow greyhound owner, Indy Davies, the documentary exposes the horrors of the industy and the devastating consequences it has on Australian greyhounds.

The film also features Animal Justice Party's Georgie Purcell MP and other advocates from Australian-based greyhound rescue and advocacy groups.

Among the confronting topics covered, the film shows the joys and happiness that comes with fostering or adopting a greyhound. Foster carers and owners share why greyhounds make the perfect companion and family pet.

The Premiere

The event was a huge success with tickets selling out within hours of announcing the event!

All ticket holders received vegan popcorn and a non-alcoholic drink. Plus the good team at Oh Darlin' Vegan Baked Goods provided tasty sweet treats to enjoy during the premiere.

Special guests on the day included Indy Davies, Georgie Purcell PM and the stars of the show - a number of greyhounds!

100% of ticket sales profits were donated to Greyt Greys Rescue to continue rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming ex-racing greyhounds.
